Mission & Vision

Harvest Students is all about reaching and discipling teenagers.  We do this by developing strong relationships, teaching them through intentional Bible Study and empowering them to serve and lead in their schools and community.  Our goal is to intersect the Gospel with the lives of each and every teenager that walks through the door. Our student ministry seeks to partner with parents to reach and raise this generation for Christ through very specific teaching, coaching, and guidance in God’s Word.

We work to see this mission accomplished through four main avenues:

  1. At 10:45, all of our students are encouraged to participate in Bible Study. Junior High and High School Students meet upstairs for fellowship and teaching. During this time, students participate in a small group discussion facilitated and led by adult leaders. Fall 2019 Bible Study is Aug 18 - December 15.

  2. We host youth group, which we call The Story, where Jr. High and High School students worship God alongside a student band and hear engaging teaching from God’s Word. We usually meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month upstairs in the Student Room.

  3. "The Spot" on Wednesday Nights is all about meeting new people, building relationships and spending time with one another. The Spot is once a month and includes events like a bonfire and Friendsgiving in the fall, a block party in the summer, and a Christmas party.

  4. Throughout the year, we have special events that support our mission as a student ministry. These events include our summer camps (Beach Advance for High School and Camp Grit for Jr. High), Student Weekender, and Girls Ministry events.
