My Story

I was adopted from Seoul, South Korea when I was 11 months old, and have proudly been a Memphian ever since! I was raised in a home with parents who diligently and faithfully demonstrated Christ to me. Church was a constant for my family and I attended a Christian school. Being immersed in these like-minded Gospel-driven atmospheres, I was constantly being exposed to who Jesus is, leading me to have all the head knowledge in the world. It was not until middle school that I realized my head knowledge was not sufficient. The Lord graciously exposed me to my brokenness and the need for His grace. He opened my heart to the realization that the life I was selfishly living would never provide true satisfaction but was rather filled with unrepentant sin. In His loving kindness, He saved me. Throughout high school, my head knowledge still got the best of me and I was a very legalistic Christ-follower. A lot of the head to heart just didn’t quite connect. I focused on doing all the “right things,” missing out on the sweetness of an intimate relationship with Him.

The Lord used my college experience to really help me grasp His love for me in a way I never had before. It was then that I truly transferred my head knowledge to heart knowledge. He began to grow in me a deep desire to know His Word. Since then, He has faithfully brought people into my life to walk alongside me, study Scripture with me, love me well, and push me more towards Him. I am so thankful!

I met my husband, Zack at Harvest in the Fall of 2018 and we were married April of 2020. It is a joy to serve together at Harvest and pour into young people. I am passionate about investing in the families and kids at Harvest—instilling in them that they are deeply loved by our great Father! It is a privilege and joy!

My Hope For Harvest

My hope for Harvest Church is that our body would be so completely filled with God’s Holy Spirit that we live our lives in a way that people are drawn to our Lord.  That we would continue to grow as a body of believers who are passionate about pursuing Christ and seeing the gospel proclaimed in our communities as well as globally by loving and serving others well.
