Administrative Assistant to Family Ministries

My Story

I was born and raised in Memphis. I grew up in a Christian home with two loving parents and two sisters. From a young age I knew that God loved me and sent Jesus to die for my sins. I gave my life to Christ and was baptized at 14. However, it wasn’t until my freshman year of college when my family and I started to attend Harvest that I realized I didn’t have a true relationship with Christ. I saw my little sister being poured into by an older woman. Witnessing that relationship and hearing the teaching at Harvest really opened my eyes to see that I had been living my life in a legalistic way. I was only focused on doing the right thing and following the rules rather than focusing on Christ himself and the sweetness of knowing him.

That year God changed my heart. I began to really desire to be in His Word, to be in a discipleship relationship, and to serve the church and community. I craved opportunities to learn more about who He is. Since then, God has shown me how sweet it is to deeply know Him and depend on Him. He has been so faithful in loving and caring for me and I am so thankful.

My Hope for Harvest:

My hope for Harvest is that our church body would grow in authentic love for God and  relationships with one another in a way that shows the love of Christ to the city of Memphis and to the ends of the Earth.
