Student Ministry

Mission & Vision

Harvest Students is all about reaching and discipling teenagers.  We do this by developing strong relationships, teaching them through intentional Bible Study and empowering them to serve and lead in their schools and community.  Our goal is to intersect the Gospel with the lives of each and every teenager that walks through the door. Our student ministry seeks to partner with parents to reach and raise this generation for Christ through very specific teaching, coaching and guidance in God’s Word.

We work to see this mission accomplished through four main avenues:

  1. During the 10:45 service, all of our students are encouraged to participate in Bible Study. Junior High and High School Students meet upstairs for fellowship and teaching. During this time, students will engage in fellowship and hear teaching from God’s Word through our 7-year curriculum plan. Fall 2023 Bible Study is from August 13 - December 17.

  2. We host our youth group called “The Place” on Wednesday nights upstairs in The 206 from 6:15-745. During this time, we will begin our time eating dinner in your assigned small group. Discussion over Sunday’s teaching through our 7-year curriculum will begin at 6:30 and end at 7. After small group discussion, we will gather together for an organized activity until 7:45. The Small Groups will be led by at least two adult leaders and will be split by grade and gender. Our hope is that the students will be known, loved, and shepherd through this model.

  3. Another avenue that we do ministry is with purely fellowship nights throughout the semester. These events include a Tailgate, Bonfire, Friendsgiving, and a Christmas party.

  4. Throughout the year, we have special events that support our mission as a student ministry. These events include our summer camps (Beach Advance for High School and Camp Grit for Jr. High), Student Weekender, along with Guys and Girls Ministry events.

Coming up This Summer

“I’ve been so grateful to be able to go to Harvest summer camps these past few years. Every year becomes my favorite week of the year and I leave feeling refreshed in the Lord. I have met some of my best friends on these trips and the leaders are always there for us.”
