Why and Where in Midtown

We're planting in Midtown for two reasons. First, we have a number of members commuting from Memphis proper. And second, we believe Midtown is one of the more unchurched and unreached areas of our city. We hope by God's grace to plant a healthy, gospel-centered, disciple-making church that will bless the saints and community.

We have yet to identify a meeting space, but we hope to meet somewhere south of Poplar, north of Southern, east of Interstate 69, and west of East Parkway. If you have an idea about where we could meet, please let us know!

Timeline and How to Get Involved

  • Fall 2019: Sunday School for those interested - Room 209

  • January - February 2020: Core Group Meetings and Membership interviews

  •  March 1, 2020: Constitute ("plant") as a church

We would encourage all those interested in the Midtown plant to join the Sunday School in the fall. We will spend time getting to know one another, praying for Midtown, and learning about the church. The core group meetings in January and February will be necessary for all those interested in being a part of the church plant.
