I was born and raised in Bryant, Arkansas right outside of Little Rock. I grew up going to church every Sunday but didn’t truly recognize the depths of my sin and my need of a savior until my latter years of college. Throughout college I struggled with finding my identity, transferring to 3 different schools. I eventually landed at the University of Central Arkansas and there I met one of my best friends, Ben Rowell, who introduced me to Young Life. Through Young Life I learned what it meant to cultivate discipleship relationships, live in authentic community, and ultimately find my true identity in Jesus Christ.
I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelors in Digital Filmmaking and a minor in Studio Art. I never thought The Lord would lead me out of of Arkansas but I ended up with a job right outside Memphis in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Harvest was the first church I tried after moving to Memphis and it has been one of the best churches I have ever been a part of. I volunteered doing videos and graphic design at Harvest for 2 years until coming on staff full time.
I’ve been married to my wife Riley since 2014 and we have a beautiful daughter named Eliza. We live in East Memphis, and we have a dog named Scout. We are big Razorback fans and even bigger Grizzlies fans. I love basketball, indie movies, music, Settlers of Catan, CrossFit, and eating Memphis food.
My Hope For Harvest
My hope for Harvest is that through the corporate gathering, the preached word would go forth and raise up mature disciples of Christ for the glory of God. That we would be transformed by the renewing power of Christ’s work on the cross and that we would live our everyday lives according to the good news of the gospel.
